History & Closure of Our Missions Work
Joe began foreign missions work in 2002, originally in Venezuela, South America under the capable leadership of long-time friend Chuck Akers. Joe moved with his family to the country of Perú, South America in 2009 to begin a new work in the Amazon Rainforest, where he resided alongside his wife and seven children, working to evangelize and plant churches among the least-reached tribal groups of Madre de Dios State, until their departure from Perú in July 2013.
Joe and his family have since moved back to the United States where they are active in pastoral ministry. Joe also serves as treasurer of Global Missionary Taskforce, Inc., a missionary sending agency.
Because of the transition back to the States, the Barraclough's missionary ministry, Vision Ministries, is no longer active and updates on the ministry were discontinued in 2013. The Barraclough family wishes to express their gratitude for the faithful prayers, support and friendship of so many over the years of their missionary ministry. God bless you!
